Your expertise will ensure the final design of products is compliant with customer needs.

About the Job

  1. You'll be responsible for updating mechanical parts to fit project-specific systems, ensuring all activities are compliant with safety protocols.
  2. Responsible for making project-specific designs according to customer requirements.
  3. Ensure mechanical systems are compliant and fit for purpose based on capacity, flow calculations, and strength calculations.
  4. Lead yourself to deliver tasks to internal stakeholders on time.
  5. Maintain close relationships with related engineers in the global competence network.
  6. Contribute to a continuous improvement culture by continuously seeking smarter ways of working.
  7. Complete other tasks assigned by your direct manager.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, technical design, or a related field.
  • Excellent English skills, both oral and written.
  • Familiarity with mechanical design software, such as AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Understanding of P&I Diagrams and experience with strength, flow, or thermal calculations.
  • Experience with pressurized applications, such as boilers, is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with tools like 5S, Six Sigma, and Certified GB is a plus.
  • Strong cross-department communication skills.
