You will be part of a team committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and frameworks, and applying Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches in healthcare settings.

The role requires competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.

Key Requirements:

  • Full registration with Social Workers Registration Board with a current APC.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience working with high need individuals and or whanau experiencing significant mental health and addiction problems.
  • A strong desire to work from a Te Ao Maori perspective, acknowledging contributions from both cultural and clinical perspectives.
