The Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide High-Quality Medical Care: Deliver patient-centered care to individuals of all ages, ensuring their health needs are met with compassion and expertise.
  • Routine Check-Ups and Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments, health screenings, and routine check-ups to identify potential health issues early.
  • Diagnostics and Treatment: Accurately diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing medication and managing treatment plans according to best practices.
  • Preventative Care: Offer health advice, including lifestyle changes, vaccinations, and screening programs, to promote overall well-being.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using the practice's software.

Requirements and Skills

  • General Registration: Possess General Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
  • Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate sound clinical service skills and be well-versed in all aspects of patient care for a wide-ranging community.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Hindi or Punjabi is highly regarded.
  • Great Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
