Job Description
This permanent Senior Dietitian role is available for an experienced Registered Dietitian who would like to join our dynamic Nutrition and Dietetics Service based at Auckland City Hospital. The successful candidate will work as part of the inpatient Dietitian team, collaborating with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to deliver high-quality care to older adults.

Key Responsibilities
- Work proactively with a complex caseload to provide innovative care, applying evidence-based practice and interventions.
- Enhance skills and knowledge through comprehensive management of patients with various needs.
- Support clinical education and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with individuals and their whanau to provide client care, optimizing patient experience through excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other groups to achieve service objectives.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A New Zealand Registered Dietitian qualification with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- 6+ years post-graduate clinical experience preferably working within a clinical dietetic setting.
- Strong connection-building skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Understanding of bicultural issues and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi.
- Excellent time management, flexibility, prioritization, and organization skills.
- Drive, energy, initiative, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
