Job Summary
Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager/ Technical Lead, Conveyance to join our Water team. This role will be based in Toronto or Stoney Creek locations (hybrid). The successful candidate will lead and develop designs on technically challenging storm, sanitary and watermain conveyance projects for clients within Toronto, GTA and Windsor.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have strong capability of developing municipal conveyance designs for water and wastewater infrastructure from conceptual level to detailed design and construction. They will work as a technical lead on projects and programs alongside a Project Manager and supporting team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform civil conveyance design for watermain, storm and sanitary sewer projects, from preliminary design to detailed design, tendering and construction inspection.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
  • Lead project teams and manage project deliverables and schedule with the project manager.
  • Undertake quality assurance and quality control of engineering drawings and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer or Certified Engineering Technologist registered in Ontario.
  • Minimum of 15 years of municipal conveyance design experience including related co-op or internship work experience.
