About the Position
Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. is seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager-Design Build Manager to lead complex transportation projects and contribute to the company's growth.

Job Summary
This role involves managing large-scale highway design projects, developing client relationships, and providing technical guidance to team members. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, transportation engineering, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Senior Project Manager for clients, overseeing detailed phases of engineering design work for moderate to significant size and complexity projects.
- Manage large multi-disciplinary highway design projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage client relationships, building trust and confidence through excellent communication and project execution.
- Provide technical and professional development of staff, fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.
- Monitor project financial performance, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills and a collaborative work ethic, with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards shared goals.
- Substantial client management, technical, and project management experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Ability to manage a multidisciplinary team of professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across departments.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in highway engineering, including state regulations governing transportation design.
- Proficiency in software such as MicroStation Open Roads Designer, Civil3D (a plus).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required, with 15+ years of experience in professional transportation engineering and project management.
