The Role
We're looking for a Digital Product Innovation Lead to join our Marketing Centre of Excellence team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in driving innovation across our marketing automation platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create clarity around the vision and goals of our marketing technology products over the short to medium term and identify opportunities for their application across both paid and owned channels.
- Develop and maintain a clear backlog of work that needs to be completed to enhance, transform, and maintain our core marketing technology products.
- Work collaboratively with other subject matter experts to dynamically develop and understand the marketing technology, data, and analytics platforms backlog.
- Provide project management support across a range of marketing technology initiatives.
- Engage stakeholders to ensure that the right product is being built and course correct if needed.
- Use metrics to continually review product progress and provide ongoing support for platforms and our MarTech engineers as required.
- Evaluate and ensure that product licensing or commercial arrangements are in place as required to support product delivery and use.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating as a Product Owner in a marketing technology environment.
- Strong understanding of marketing technology capabilities across the industry, including digital ad tech and advertising platforms.
- Experience working with agile and waterfall teams.
- Ability to challenge and encourage others to put the customer first.
- Ability to maintain strong commitment to change and engage with others to gain buy-in.
- Strong contributions to strategic change and direction setting.
- Extensive problem-solving toolkit.
- Understanding of current and prospective customer needs and expectations.
- Experience in balancing revenue, cost, and efficiency goals to understand, monitor, and share financial benefits with stakeholders.
