Nurse Crisis Resolution Specialist

**Job Overview:**
Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their Crisis Resolution Service (CRS). As a key member of the team, you will provide support to whaiora in distress after hours.
**About the Role:**
This shift work position involves assessing new referrals to the service and supporting community teams with after-hours support. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in risk management, engagement with community organisations, and working collaboratively with a diverse team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide acute assessments and support to whaiora presenting in distress
- Collaborate with community teams to ensure seamless support during after-hours periods
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organisations to enhance support for whaiora
**Requirements:**
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Proficient or expert level of PDRP
- Good understanding of the Mental Health Act
- Able to work well in a team environment
