About the Position
This part-time secondary teacher position is available due to a parental leave cover in a Psychology department at Santa Maria College. The successful candidate will teach 2 X Y11 Psychology, 2 X Y10 Psychology and a Homeroom and Pastoral. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work across 10 days in a cycle. However, there is flexibility on hours around Scheduled Class Time.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Psychology subjects to Year 10 and 11 students, managing a homeroom and pastoral care program, and working collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the developmental needs of adolescents and emerging young adults. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in the use of ICT for communication and record keeping is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have interpersonal skills appropriate to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff and parents.
