About the Role:This is a key leadership position that will play a vital role in ensuring the firm meets its obligations under all relevant global data protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to the EU, UK, USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring policies and standards applicable to the business and in compliance with all relevant data protection laws.
The ideal candidate will have experience in UK and/or international data privacy laws, including the EU and US, and strong knowledge of information technology and data management systems.
- Develop and articulate a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the organisation's goals and market demands.
- Advise senior stakeholders on the potential impact of emerging and evolving privacy laws and risks and lead on aspects of implementation.
- Provide guidance on the deployment of new technologies and processes.
- Support the firm's internal governance and accountability obligations under the EU and UK GDPR.
