We are seeking a qualified Specialist Anaesthetist to join our team at Nelson Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality anaesthetic services, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the anaesthetic roster, covering planned care and acute theatre sessions, anaesthesia after-hours on call support, anaesthetic pre-assessment clinics, and working as the duty anaesthetist.
- Support other departments including obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, general surgery, orthopaedics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, dental, mental health, and the emergency department.
- Develop and maintain your skills and knowledge, contributing to the growth and success of our team.
This is a fixed-term position, commencing January 2025, working 30 hours per week (0.75 FTE).
