About the Role
Health New Zealand is seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join the Christchurch Hospital WellFood Department. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food to the highest standard.

About the Team/Service/Location
The kitchen team at Canterbury District Health Board are committed to ensuring that the needs of each patient are met with care and attention. As a member of this team, you will be required to follow standardised recipes, use creative flair to present food, and maintain clean and tidy working areas. You will also be expected to follow food handling, safety, and infection control policies and procedures.

About You
We are looking for a motivated, reliable, hardworking, and flexible candidate who is able to bring their passion for hospitality services to our facilities. This role would suit someone who is looking for flexible working hours, is able to work on their feet, and can focus in busy, loud environments. Experience working in large-scale kitchen environments would be advantageous.
