Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive ICT lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
  • Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring each student has the opportunity to excel.
  • Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make computer science relevant and captivating for students.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Teaching certification in Information Technology or Business Studies.
  • PGCE/QTS/QTLS.
  • Proven experience teaching IT or Business Studies at the secondary level is desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school's curriculum.
