Job Description
The Mobile Engineering Leader will be responsible for leading the development of our mobile solutions, providing technical guidance to projects and peers, and ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in leading teams and guiding individuals to achieve outstanding results. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with internal customers to understand requirements, undertake development, and deliver results. Your expertise will also involve analyzing briefs, writing progress reports, identifying risks, and developing work schedules. Furthermore, you will plan, design, and lead the technical aspects of projects, provide guidance and support to the team in resolving solutions, document architecture and design technical solutions to achieve business objectives, produce specifications, and determine operational feasibility. Additionally, you will integrate software components into a fully functional software system, design and maintain highly usable solutions focused on high levels of efficiency, reliability, and adherence to design, configuration, and test-driven best practices. Your expertise will also involve actively seeking to produce value by building the right thing to provide the right business outcomes, supporting and guiding less experienced members of the team, collaborating with product owners, lead architects, and development managers to build out the capabilities on development and DevOps internally, finding effective ways to improve the responsiveness and flexibility of solutions that empowers our business users, and ensuring you and the wider team are adding value by genuinely taking ownership of the systems it designs and delivers.
