Position Summary

Tangram is seeking a skilled Container Hoist Operator to join our team at our Auckland Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 50-tonne container handler and supporting ground functions by moving containers around the yard as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a 50-tonne container handler to move containers around the yard.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management using RT communication.
  • Load and unload trucks and work areas as required.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full NZ Class 1 Licence (essential).
  • Class 2 Licence (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience working with heavy machinery (essential).
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
