We are seeking an Asset Manager to join our property portfolio management team at the Department of Conservation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of our properties across Aotearoa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regional and district points of contact, as well as contracted facilities management providers
  • Coordinate work associated with commercial building compliance, including asbestos and seismic assessments
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations and Health and Safety standards

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong customer-centric focus, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record in facilities management. You will also have experience working with enterprise portfolio management systems and negotiation skills to manage contract relationships.

We offer a competitive salary range of $92,450 to $111,466, commensurate with your skills and experience. Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including holding a valid work visa covering the entire employment period.
