Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and work with a committed, professional team delivering learning support specialist education services to children and young people. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading change and providing leadership and management that influences and motivates others through personal advocacy, vision, and aspiration in a collaborative environment.
You will have a key role facilitating the timely provision of services in response to local needs, with a focus on Maori-medium settings and better support for Maori learners.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in leading complex teams and managing workload and resource issues. You will also require effective and efficient communication skills with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
You must be able to engage in a culturally responsive and respectful way with Maori, iwi, hapu, whanau, and akonga. Additionally, you will need to have demonstrated ability to influence and lead innovation, people, programs, and change.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes
* Build and maintain relationships with local education providers, iwi, communities, and whanau
* Collaborate with the team to provide high-quality learning support specialist education services
* Identify and address barriers to learning
