Job Summary
Oceania's Duart site in Havelock North, Hastings is recruiting a full-time Diversional Therapist to join our passionate activities team. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can lead the development and implementation of activities programmes that promote resident engagement and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement activities programmes that cater to diverse interests and abilities
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless integration of activities into daily routines
• Provide motivational support to residents to encourage participation in activities
• Foster strong relationships with residents, staff, and visitors to create a sense of community

Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role or related field
• National Certificate in Diversional Therapy or equivalent health qualification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate others to participate in activities
• Strong computer and system management skills to track progress and manage resources
• Ability to follow policies and procedures to meet audit requirements
• Full NZ Drivers licence for occasional transport duties
• Flexible multitasking and time management skills to balance competing priorities
