About the Team/Service/Location
The District Chief Midwife is a senior clinical leadership role based within the district, reporting directly to the Group Director of Operations (GDO) with a dotted professional line to the National Chief Midwife.

About You
We're seeking an exceptional individual with relevant experience within the New Zealand Public Sector. As a senior midwife with leadership potential, you'll bring a unique combination of clinical expertise, interpersonal skills, and strategic thinking to this role.
You'll possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to positively influence and motivate others. Your problem-solving capabilities and system-thinking approach will enable you to effectively mitigate risks and issues.
A strong desire to work collaboratively with others and share knowledge and expertise is essential. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing circumstances.
