Your Role: As a Liquor Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for managing our liquor inventory, providing expertise on various liquor products, and assisting customers in making informed purchasing decisions. You will play a key role in enhancing customers' experiences by offering personalized recommendations and ensuring that our liquor offerings meet their specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure, store, and manage our liquor inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and market developments in the liquor industry to provide expert guidance and recommendations to customers.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, promotions, and product availability to maximize our competitive advantage.
  • Conduct tastings, product demonstrations, and educational sessions for customers to enhance their knowledge and appreciation of liquor products.
  • Monitor sales trends and analyze data to identify opportunities for product optimization and expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role within the liquor industry, preferably in a wholesale or retail environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of different types of liquor, including spirits, wine, and beer, as well as production methods, flavor profiles, and pairings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and inventory management software.
