Job Description:

We are seeking a Critical Care Physician - ICU to join our team at Timaru Hospital. As a Critical Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality critical care services to patients requiring intensive care unit (ICU) admission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical care services to patients admitted to the ICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Medical Council Registration in New Zealand (or eligible for registration)
  • Completion of Advanced Training in Intensive Care Medicine or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
