Job Description
This role will focus on winning work, driving project delivery, maintaining key client relationships, and shaping the future of major infrastructure projects in New Zealand. As a Major Project Leader, you will lead and manage strategic pursuits and bids for key infrastructure opportunities across New Zealand. You will also act as the Project Manager and leader for selected infrastructure projects and teams, providing governance and oversight as Project Director for high-profile projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need over 15 years of experience in major infrastructure projects, ideally within a consulting environment. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field are also essential. You will have proven ability to lead and deliver large, complex projects on time and within budget, as well as in-depth knowledge of relevant industry legislation, regulations, and guidelines. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels and foster teamwork under pressure, are also required.
