We are seeking an experienced Forage Agronomist to join our team in the Waikato region. As a key member of our product development pipeline, you will play a vital role in helping farmers and growers across the area maximise the productivity and profitability of their forage and pasture-based operations.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in agriculture, agronomy or a related discipline and experience with statistical programs such as Genstat or R. Some experience as an agronomist within the farming, seeds or agricultural services industries would be beneficial.

You will be responsible for planning, implementing and reporting Stage I and Stage II forage trials, conducting field demonstrations and showcasing the latest pasture and forage technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to provide expert technical advice and recommendations to customers on forage and pasture selection, establishment, management and improvement.
