Turf Groundskeeper

As one of the Hastings District Council's trusted service providers, we take pride in enhancing the beauty of Hastings parks, playgrounds, gardens, sports fields, and public facilities.

We're currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Turf Labourer to join our Hastings team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our sports fields across the Hastings District in top shape, ensuring they're ready for both local and national cricket matches.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining high-quality playing surfaces, especially during the busy cricket season and seasonal transitions between sports. Your responsibilities will include:

• Daily mowing and rolling of pitches
• Preparing pitches, including setting up and removing covers as needed
• Assisting with seasonal changeovers between different sports fields
• General field and park maintenance to keep grounds safe, tidy, and ready for use
• Supporting the team in various tasks to ensure the sports facilities are always game-ready

With a primary focus on cricket, flexibility during the summer season is essential for this role.
