About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Programme Architect to lead the delivery of a transformative programme that will modernize the New Zealand Government's immigration system. This is a key opportunity for a seasoned Enterprise Architect to bring their expertise to the role and make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Immigration NZ Enterprise Architect and the wider Architecture function to ensure the programme remains aligned with the organisation's central governance functions.
  2. Contribute to the development of the organisation's strategy and architectural concerns within the Immigration systems 'Our Future Services' (OFS) Programme.
  3. Research and evaluate strategic technology options for the OFS programme within the wider MBIE context, providing recommendations and guidance to stakeholders.
  4. Develop thought leadership content to inform and educate business stakeholders and virtual teams of architects on key issues and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of working with business leaders to facilitate strategy and strategic planning.
  • Able to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Strong understanding of medium to long-term technology trends and their implications for heavily digital and technology-dependent organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
