About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technician to join our Development Engineering Team. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality land development outcomes.

Responsibilities
As the first point of contact for land development engineering advice, your work will help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while achieving the best environmental outcomes for our city. Your responsibilities include investigating residential developments, non-compliances, and public concerns, coordinating responses, liaising with landowners, developers, and internal teams, supporting the team in coordinating and tracking the processing of resource consents, engineering approvals, and RMA certifications, managing the subdivision inbox, book inspections, and update records.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related field, strong communication and customer service skills, an understanding of land development, subdivisions, and three waters infrastructure, the ability to interpret engineering plans and consent documentation, excellent organisational and record-keeping skills, experience with document management systems and Microsoft Office.
