**The Role**

We're seeking a talented Software Development Specialist to join our Technology Group as part of the Platform Engineering Team. Your mission will be to reduce cognitive load on product teams by designing and developing reusable, secure, and self-service building blocks.

**Responsibilities**

You'll work closely with fellow engineers, analysts, and DevOps professionals in an agile delivery team to deliver fit-for-purpose software solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing assigned software products and services
  • Working closely with your Technical Lead to deliver software solutions

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as an application developer/engineer in a large and complex environment
  • Degree qualified, preferably in computer science or software development
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns, with experience in cloud development (preferably AWS), SaaS, CI/CD, IaC, and Serverless
  • Proficient in NodeJS, Microsoft .NET Core, REST, Terraform, NUnit, SQL, GitHub, and PostgreSQL
