About the Role:
This is an autonomous role within a collaborative and supportive underwriting team. You will be responsible for managing a diverse commercial portfolio across Property, Motor, Liability, and Contract Engineering Works. Your primary objective will be to grow your leadership experience by mentoring and guiding junior Underwriters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse commercial portfolio across various industries.
  • Coach and mentor team members to meet or exceed service standards and regional targets.
  • Underwrite complex risks in line with business plans and within delegated authority levels.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

You will bring proven experience engaging with senior Insurance Brokers and presenting to clients. A collaborative team player, you will have emotional intelligence, interpersonal, and conflict management skills. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation capabilities are essential.

Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills are also required, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
