About the Job

We are currently seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fabricator to join our team at Tangram. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing structural steel components on various construction sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fabrication, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in this field. You will be expected to interpret engineering plans and technical drawings, cut, shape, and weld steel materials using machine or hand tools, and ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and follow engineering plans, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Assemble steel structures and secure them using bolts, rivets, or welding
  • Install structural steel components at construction sites
  • Cut, shape, and weld steel materials to required specifications using machine or hand tools
  • Inspect and maintain equipment and tools for safe and effective operation
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineers, crane operators, riggers, and other tradespeople on site
  • Perform repairs or modifications to existing steel structures when necessary
