About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Hatchery team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work directly under the supervision of the Hatchery Manager, ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities within the hatchery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment operates efficiently and effectively;
- Analyse equipment failures and identify solutions to prevent future occurrences;
- Work collaboratively with the hatchery team to achieve shared goals and objectives;
- Adhere to strict biosecurity protocols and animal welfare guidelines to maintain the highest standards within the industry.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A trade qualification or relevant experience working with maintenance equipment in an agricultural setting;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills;
- A commitment to safe work practices and adherence to biosecurity protocols.
