We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality network services and initiatives for A*STAR. The successful candidate will have a strong background in enterprise level routing and switching, as well as experience in network security technologies. They will be responsible for managing the daily network operation requirements, leading projects, and collaborating with internal functional teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of network services and initiatives for A*STAR
- Ensure smooth and reliable network operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes
- Implement solution in an enterprise network/security infrastructure
- Participate in full spectrum of project activities including technical design, conduct Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), project management, engineering & integration, and acceptance testing & commissioning
- Liaise with all relevant internal functional team and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion and implementation of projects within budget and timeline
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in network operations and management
- Strong knowledge of enterprise level routing and switching technologies
- Experience with network security technologies (Firewall, IPS, IPSEC VPN, Secure Remote Access, DOS/DDOS mitigation etc)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Enterprise) certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
