Emergency Management Policy Analyst

This role is an exciting opportunity to join NEMA's Policy Unit and contribute to the development of emergency management related policy advice. As a Coordinator, Policy, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of policy analysis and advice provision to NEMA and the Minister for Emergency Management.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, ability to deliver high quality work under pressure, and high level of judgement with the ability to make effective decisions in complex situations. They will also be able to work autonomously and ensure work gets completed effectively and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the smooth execution of policy analysis and advice provision
• Work closely with senior managers and provide support to projects and programmes of work
• Administer products and processes associated with government policy and machinery of government

The indicative salary range for this role is $68,348 - $72,145 including Kiwisaver employer contributions. Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or New Zealand Permanent Resident.
