About the PositionWe are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to fill the role of Community Support Worker at Healthvision New Zealand Ltd. As a Community Support Worker, you will be working directly with clients, providing person-centered care and support in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
- Provide support with personal care, household management, and community access
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements
Working Hours:
The role involves working on a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts. The preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process. We are looking for someone who is comfortable covering between 6 am and 9 pm.
Requirements- A Level 3 or 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification is beneficial, but not essential
- Experience working with intellectual and physical disabilities is advantageous
- Ability to drive independently and access a car
- Flexibility to travel throughout Wellington and surrounding regions
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
A competitive hourly rate: $24.13 - $30.03 per hour
