Senior Roofer

Architectural Envelopes Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheetmetal Fabricator and Installer to join our team in the Otago and Southland regions.

**Job Summary:**
We are looking for three experienced professionals to work on some of the most stunning and challenging homes and commercial projects in the South Island.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Fabricate and install European style metal roofing, cladding, flashings, and rainwater goods, including non-ferrous materials
* Organize flashing orders lists for workshop fabrication
* Position parts and subassemblies
* Operate fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and folding machines
* Ensure all customer interactions are positive, polite, and respectful
* Conduct all interactions with colleagues and managers in an open and collaborative manner to facilitate the best outcome for all required tasks
* Attend staff meetings and training as required
* Contribute to the implementation of the Safety Management System and of the equipment inventory
* Travel to project sites, subject to H&S requirements
* Supervise junior staff

**Minimum Requirements:**

* High levels of craftsmanship in the fabrication and installation of metal roofing, cladding, flashings, and rainwater goods
* A minimum 3 years' relevant experience
* Experience with non-ferrous metals like copper, lead, zinc, and aluminium
* Excellent knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings
* Ability to operate a Forklift
* Honesty and reliability with solution-oriented focus
