**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join our ICU department at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitaha Canterbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing critically ill patients, supervising medical and other staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage critically ill or injured patients
• Supervise medical and other staff to ensure seamless care delivery
• Develop and implement evidence-based patient care plans

**Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have completed a minimum of 18 months Intensive Care experience and be eligible to register with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You will also need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
