As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a key role in continuing our drive for constant improvement and delivering exceptional care and service.
About the Role- Planning, delivering, and recording radiation treatment accurately and efficiently
- Providing information and education to patients and their family/whanau where appropriate
- Assisting with the clinical training and ongoing clinical assessment of Radiation Therapy students
- Identifying areas of improvement and participating in change initiatives
- Developed technical skills in radiation treatment planning and delivery, brachytherapy, and radiation oncology patient management systems
- Eligibility for registration as a Radiation Therapist by the Medical Radiation Technologists Board of New Zealand
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
- A commitment to quality outcomes and patient-centred care
- Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- An experienced team who are passionate about continued professional development and supporting team education
- A comprehensive range of equipment and technology, including 4 Elekta linear accelerators and a Siemens 64 slice CT scanner
- The opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a varied caseload
