Te Puni Kōkiri is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Senior Management Accountant. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing financial guidance and support to our organization. Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing financial information and advice to budget managers and Deputy Secretaries.
- Preparing and reviewing financial reports and forecasts.
- Leading and coaching the wider team in the preparation of internal management reporting and internal budgets and forecasts.
- Maintaining relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Te Puni Kōkiri's operations and policies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
