About the Role

Te Puni Kōkiri is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Senior Management Accountant. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing financial guidance and support to our organization. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise while contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing financial information and advice to budget managers and Deputy Secretaries.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports and forecasts.
  • Leading and coaching the wider team in the preparation of internal management reporting and internal budgets and forecasts.
  • Maintaining relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Te Puni Kōkiri's operations and policies.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
