**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Whangarei Hospital in Northland. The primary function of this role is to provide clinical and professional practice, assessing and treating designated inpatients or outpatients with communication and swallowing disorders.

About You

  • Degree in Speech Language Therapy or equivalent
  • Membership of NZSTA
  • Previous experience working in the field of Speech Language Therapy - communication and swallow
  • Excellent English language communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Current NZ Driver's license or International Driver's Permit

About the Team

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, empathizing and communicating effectively with patients, particularly elders and their families/whanau in a culturally safe manner. This role is working predominantly with individuals aged 16 and over.
