Role Overview:

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our Child Adolescent and Family Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality and effective interventions that maximise mental health and maintain children and young people within their home and educational environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in child and adolescent work and be able to provide comprehensive mental health assessments and effective evidence-based interventions for children and young people.

About the Team/Service:

You will be working as a valuable member of our multi-disciplinary team, providing high quality and effective interventions that maximise mental health and maintain children and young people within their home and educational environment. We are committed to finding creative ways of providing timely, locally delivered, high quality and effective interventions.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Excellent communication and liaison skills
  • An NZ Registered Psychologist qualification
  • Flexibility to provide shorter-term, referral-reason-focused interventions
