At Awatapu College, we are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to join our team as an academic historian. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in social studies/history to students in years 7-15.
This is a fixed-term position starting on June 16, 2025, with the end date of January 25, 2026. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can contribute to our college's extensive co-curricular programme.
The ideal candidate must be a registered New Zealand teacher with a strong background in teaching social sciences. A commitment to professional development and a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in social studies/history
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum
