Job Summary:
We are seeking a permanent full-time general radiologist to work in our department at Taranaki Base Hospital. As a dynamic team member, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images and providing diagnoses to patients.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Radiologist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in Taranaki. You will have the chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound modalities.
- The department offers a range of leadership opportunities, including Director of Training, Clinical Lead Breast Radiology, and Clinical Lead MRI.
Our Department of Radiology is committed to providing excellent patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging in New Zealand. We welcome applications from experienced Consultant Radiologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality services.
You will possess essential skills that include plain film, ultrasound, CT, and MRI reporting. Desirable skills would include sub-specialty interest in any of: musculoskeletal MRI; general interventional radiology (no intracranial work); CT colonography; cardiac CT, or nuclear medicine.
About YouIdeally, you will hold vocational registration from the Medical Council of New Zealand, or be eligible for such registration holding recognised post-graduate qualifications from another country. You may be eligible for relocation assistance and a generous continuing education allowance and days.
