About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haematologist to join our team in the Malignant Haematology Service. As part of this role, you will be involved in the full spectrum of haematological cancer care, with a focus on transplant and cellular therapy.
The successful candidate will have experience in clinical haematology, with subspecialty expertise in malignant haematology, including the treatment of plasma cell disorders, leukaemia, and stem cell transplantation. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with a well-established thrombosis unit and bleeding disorder program, as well as LabPlus, which provides integrated laboratory support for the clinical service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide secondary haematology services to the central Auckland area and tertiary services, including the treatment of acute leukaemia, high-grade lymphoma, and autologous/allogeneic stem cell transplants.
- Work closely with the malignant Clinical Haematology Service to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Participate in research and education activities related to haematological cancer care.
