About this Role
This Management Accountant position is based in Christchurch and offers a unique opportunity to join our Finance Team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of financial and operational information to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate financial models and reports.
- Analyse and interpret financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial and operational information.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Bachelor of Commerce or Accountancy.
- 4+ years' experience in an accounting role.
- Strong analytical and MS Excel skills, knowledge of accounting systems and processes for reporting purposes.
- Proven business analysis skills with the ability to work with technical specialists.
- Experience working in complex financial environments, preferably in SOE or commercial environments.
