Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Support Specialist to join our team at Jewish Home Family. As a member of our physical therapy department, you will work under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to support our Physical Therapists in providing evidence-based interventions to help residents regain mobility, strength, and function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physical Therapists with implementing treatment plans, observing patients' progress, and recording responses to treatment.
  • Participate in weekly UR meetings and interdisciplinary care plan meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate staff, family members, and caregivers on aspects of patient care as needed.
  • Identify needs for program development and implement programs according to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
  • Current Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
  • CPR certified.
  • Service orientation.
  • Active learning.
