You'll need to possess a strong foundation in API testing and automation frameworks, including Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, and Rest-Assured. A solid understanding of Swagger and Open API specifications is also essential.

This position requires collaboration with developers to create and maintain automated checks, working closely with Agile teams to ensure clear understanding of business requirements, reproducing, debugging, and resolving defects efficiently, and participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to team deliverables.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive experience in API testing and automation frameworks (Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, Rest-Assured)
  • Strong knowledge of Swagger and Open API specifications
  • Expertise in building API mocks for testing
  • Experience in white-box testing, debugging, and Postman collections (JavaScript)
  • Ability to write SQL scripts for databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, DB2)
  • Strong Linux command line scripting skills
  • Familiarity with log analysis and application monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, AKS)
