As an Accounts Assistant at Green by Nature, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial functions. Key responsibilities include:

  • AP Function Management: Oversee invoices, coding, reconciliations, and payment runs, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring accurate records and prompt query resolution.
  • Monthly Journal Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly journals, supporting month-end closure.
  • Finance Support: Provide expert training and guidance to internal teams on finance processes and systems.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks, including mail, banking, and record-keeping.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all transactions adhere to regulatory and internal requirements, supporting audit preparation and month-end processes.

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification, with recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably SAP.
  • Strong time management skills, with ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and tools.
  • A team-focused mindset, with a strong work ethic and sense of humour.
  • Valid full driver's license.
