About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Nurse Coordinator (NC) for our Nurse Entry to Practice (NETP) and Postgraduate (PG) nursing funding. As a senior designated role, you will be responsible for coordinating all components of the Hutt Valley NETP programme and PG nursing funding.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with managers, nurse educators, and clinical coaches in HSS and across primary and community settings.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the NETP programme and PG nursing funding.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workforce capability and resilience.
  • Collaborate with teams across the District to achieve quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with minimum three years post-graduate experience.
  • Post-graduate nursing qualification or working towards this.
  • Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within HSS and across primary and community sector.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with ability to set goals and deliver outcomes.
