Key Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the stability study programme for new products, developing robust formulations that meet New Zealand and international standards, preparing product specifications, documentation, and export information, creating and assessing concept samples to meet customer briefs, conducting internal audits to support quality assurance, overseeing factory trials and ensuring smooth transition to production, and participating in sensory evaluation and supporting troubleshooting production issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Food Science/Technology or related field
- Proven experience in NPD, preferably in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
