The Role
As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will work closely with the Residential Team Leader to carry out client rehabilitation plans. You will empower clients to complete daily tasks, offering oversight, direct assistance or prompting as needed. Regular progress reports will be submitted, highlighting the client's achievements and areas for improvement. This role requires a polite and friendly demeanor, focusing on providing a positive experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Empower clients to complete daily tasks, providing oversight, direct assistance or prompting as required
- Report on client progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes
- Assist clients with personal care and encourage participation in various activities, promoting a sense of community and social interaction
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the residential facility, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements
- NZQA qualification in Health & Wellbeing (or studying towards)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Current first aid certificate
- Full driver's license
- Ability to make independent decisions and work effectively with others
- Strong self-management and time management skills
- 'Can-do' attitude and ability to work well within a team
