Responsibilities:
* Design and develop the mechanical structures and mechanisms of the Neutron launch vehicle
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development of the Neutron platform
* Develop and execute the design and certification strategy for mechanical structures and mechanisms across the Neutron launch vehicle
* Identify and solve technical challenges to allow projects to proceed at pace
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* 8+ years industry experience in the design, development, and test of material systems in a relevant technical field (e.g. Aviation, Aerospace, Automotive, Marine)
* Demonstrated experience with metallic materials and process development and qualification
* Demonstrated experience with composites and related materials
Working Environment:
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with tight deadlines and high expectations. They will need to be able to work effectively in a team, communicate complex ideas clearly, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
